LGR is an Italian manufacturer of eyewear and sunglasses founded by Luca Gnecchi Ruscone in 2007. Aesthetic vision of design was received by Luke from his grandfather, who was a shopkeeper in optics Eritrea (Kenya) and supplied Italian frames to Africa in 1930s.. Visiting this store 50 years later Luke found vintage glasses, which inspired him to a revival of the old production. All LGR items are handmade in Italy: subtle impact resistant frames of different colors without logos, photochromic glass with anti-reflective coating, infrared and UV protection.
